Sorry Britarse, but my interest faded on this story. Bum sex never leads to life and more often than not leads at best to some pretty sore rashes. Bible stories show us that all have sinned and fallen short of glory, and highlight is given to those who realize this - however there are those who wear and parade thier sins like those of soddom, and it is these people who need warning - I'd have though someone as inteligent as you would have known this.

Gay people have genuine relationships, love their families and contribute to society in many ways, focusing on the sex act that you find abhorrent reduces real people to one-dimensional characters. As to not creating life, religion has long idealised chastity, which is very unnatural.

The whole "love the sinner, hate the sin@ thing is flawed because you focus on the other person's role as "sinner", that is, you focus entirely on the thing about them that you hate.

With reference to homosexuality, I can talk to a gay friend about books, films etc. and be thinking about those things, a homophobe can't do that because, in the presence of a gay, he can't think anything but "Urgh! God! He takes it up the arse!"

For another example, look at Jack Chicks own tracts "Love the Jewish People" and "Where's Rabbi Wexman?", Love the Jews, Hate the Judaism.
